Exclusively

for women who

have 20(ish)

pounds to lose.

Do you ever feel neglected in the weight loss world?

You know you want to lose 5, 10, 15, 20 pounds, but you feel bad even saying it, when your best friend, sister or co-worker has 80 that she needs to lose.

You know what you are going to hear:
"You look great."
"Oh, if I had such problems."

Then there is the added discouragement of looking at the women your age and realizing, well, actually hardly any of them are successful at being a really healthy slim weight.

Still, you know you want to be that healthful slim weight (especially when you try to find a flattering dress to wear to a special occasion and have to eliminate so many because of the belly pooch) and so you buckle down and get going for a week or two on "the diet."

The diet’s going fine... but then you're at a party and... "Hey, I don't look that bad. I can surely afford to eat this one piece of cake."

And you know what? You can afford to eat that one piece of cake. No problem. But the cake and the wine, on top of bread with dinner…. Or maybe it was just the cake... but it seems that one piece of cake opened the gate and became the beginning of the end of your weight loss effort.
Let me tell you a secret that can change all of this for you.  A secret, that if you learn how to implement it, will allow you not only to lose the weight you need to, but to keep it off forever.

It has to do with the "Five Elements of Successful Diets."

People who have lost weight successfully generally are using some program or reading some instruction book that has them using these Five Elements in some measure:

Structure
Accountability
Motivation
Increased Mindfulness
and Information.

Most of you are probably part of the I-Know-What-To-Do-I-Just-Don't-Do-It crowd. I get that, okay ? You might need a little less "information" than the average dieter. But you still need some of the other four elements.

Most people think because they have all the "information" that they should be able to lose the weight. Not so.

It's especially tricky when you are in your last 20 pounds.

For example, let's take "structure." Structure is usually either a "counting plan" or a "listing plan". You need some type of structure, because it helps you eliminate some of your "moments of choice." Brian Wansink, researcher and author of Mindless Eating says the average American makes 200+ food choices per day. That is just entirely TOO MANY "moments of choice" for a typical person's willpower -- so following a counting plan or a listing plan (like a set menu, or a list of foods you can eat or not eat) is usually very helpful. But when you are in your last 20 pounds... you just aren't really that motivated to follow such a structured plan, and besides that you know you want to make it a "lifestyle" change at this point.

So you have a dilemma -- you need structure, etc... but you aren't willing to be "on a diet" long enough to get to your goal and stay there.

GREAT NEWS!

In the "Getting to Goal" program I'm going to teach you what you need to know and what you need to do come to grips with solving this problem once and for all.

I can't explain the whole program right now, but let me tell you that it has to do with:

(1) devising your own diet,
(2) accountability,
(3) and transitions.
I'm going to teach you how to devise your own diet and how to transition from one type of diet to another.

In Reasonable Diet lingo "accountability" means learning to "stay checked in " . . . not only with the group and your coach... but also with YOURSELF!

So you are going to learn to devise your own diet for the week, hold yourself accountable to it and then transition to another diet the next week.

Why would you transition to another "diet"? For an extreme example, think of the diet that you would devise (a) the week before a vacation, (b) the week of the vacation, (c) and the week after the vacation. All very different eating plans would be called for.

Making those plans and learning to hold yourself accountable to them is not only how you are going to lose this last 20 pounds, it is how you are going to turn "dieting" into "lifestyle" change.

I have not only conquered this dilemma myself, I have helped hundreds of other women who have faced the same issue.

Four years ago I was feeling fat, frumpy and old. I had a chronic illness that sapped my energy, and I found myself eating out of fatigue and boredom. I wanted to lose weight. After all, I knew what to do! But after several unsuccessful attempts, and feeling hopeless, I joined Sandra's group. I began as the “slowest loser” and Sandra, who is all about self-love, inspired me to stick with the program. She taught me about “focus days,” which my husband and I practice regularly. I began choosing healthier foods and got my portion sizes under control! I felt motivated by the success and strategies of the other women in the group. The weekly accountability also helped keep me on track. Today I am still maintaining my 15-20 lb weight loss. Good health is priceless, and well worth the effort! I highly recommend Sandra's group to any woman who wants to lose weight and find herself in the process. Deana D.

FAQ

What will I do for support when the 8-week program is over?

You'll have the option of ongoing support with the women in your group.

What if the group calls times won't work for me?

If we can not find a time that the calls work for you and everyone in the group -- you will have the option of a refund, going down a step to the Silver Package (and listening to the calls later) or going up a step to the VIP plan, (with personally scheduled coaching calls.)

What if I have to occasionally miss a call?

Of course in eight weeks everyone will have to miss some of the calls. I personally would still choose the Ultimate package and take advantage of the calls that you can be on and listen in later on the ones that you miss.

What if I can't afford the Ultimate Package right now?

Then take advantage of the Silver Package now. But seriously... you really want to be on the calls if possible. You need personal answers and I want to be able to connect with your personally to make sure we have addressed any issues that have been barriers to your success in the past. If you could have done this alone before, you would have already done it. Do your self a favor and connect with me.. This is really an extraordinary price to get personal diet coaching that these calls will offer.

Is there an opportunity for additional personal support from Sandra?

My hourly rate is $120 per hour, however, during your time in any of the programs I will be offering consultations at $45 per 1/2 hour.

I lost 20 pounds with Weight Watchers, and then I very quickly put 10 of those back on. I work in healthcare, and believe me, when taking care of patients it becomes extremely clear what being overweight and/or out of shape does to your health and quality of life. But now there I was, on the front lines battling, up and down. My family would frequently kid me about how I had read every diet book out there, and knew more about diets than anyone they knew. Yes, I was obviously a candidate for membership in the “I know what to do, I just don’t do it” club. Then I discovered Sandra’s Reasonable Diet podcast. With her awesome advice, I managed to lose 13 pounds over the next 8 months. That may seem unacceptably slow according to the aspirations of some who are embarking on yet another weight loss adventure . But this time, thanks to Sandra’s great insights, I did not go on a diet: I devised my own diet" . Then I reached an impasse. The things I had been willing to do thus far, had helped me reach this point, yet now here I was again, on the front lines battling - 3 lbs up, 3 lbs down. Although I was not battling to stay out of the “overweight zone,” I was battling nonetheless. I wanted to lose that last 5 pounds, but more than that I wanted to reach a place of peace and stability, a place where thoughts about food and weight did not claim such a large chunk of my mental energy. So I decided to try a four week Reasonable Dieting group. “So what did I lose in those first four week? Three pounds. What did I gain? The start of a new, normalized relationship with food, and an understanding of what Sandra means about having peace of mind and feelings of integrity in this area of life. (And by the way, those three pounds pushed me over the line to the next size down, into my skinny jeans. And that also is a very good thing!) It has only gotten better from there... Thank Sandra

Vicki J. -- Arizona

Vicki

Sandra’s sense of self-evaluation has helped me tremendously. I came to Reasonable Diet with my hands thrown in the air, practically. I felt like, frankly, a former attractive woman and beginning athlete who had thrown in the towel and was becoming the typical “plump newlywed.” I did not want that for myself! Having been over 200 pounds for many years, then losing weight, it was hard for me to think of slowly approaching that state again. But that was what I felt I was doing. Sandra simply asked me what I was willing to do on my first phone call. That was probably the best question I could have been asked at that time. I slowly began making health-minded changes. The group provided me with the environment I needed to foster my transition back to the more health-conscious world! My first and only other weight loss was with Weight Watchers. Looking back, while I did learn a lot about food/nutrition, I never really learned about WHY I was overeating. For me, it was just a process of losing weight and NOT assessing my choices. I feel SO much better about myself now. Even though my weight loss is fairly minimal (10-12 pounds depending on the day…) I feel that I have transformed tremendously both in the physical and mental sense. While losing the 10-12 pounds, I gained the confidence to take the plunge and train for my first full marathon (26.2 miles). I had run 2 half-marathons before, but I was intimidated to do the full. With the love and support of Sandra and my AIM group, I became a marathoner in March 2007! And with regards to the mental sense, I KNOW now that I can do anything I set my mind to. Over a one week period, I went from feelings of struggle and conflict to feelings of real peace of mind and ease in regards to food choices.
