How did I help you? Encouragement. Taught me new ways to think about food, provided recipes and food ideas, gave me motivation and tools to use.
How did you benefit from the group? Their sharing helps me, but also as I help them I help myself.
What was the biggest challenge you faced and what helped you get over it? Fear of not reaching my goal – not accomplished yet, still working on.
Have you lost weight before, and if so, how was this process different? Yes; learning to handle and develop my own plan that I can use for the rest of my life.
Who do you think would benefit from the services of the Reasonable Diet? Anyone – it is more about healthy choices than losing weight.
Why do you look forward to coming to the group? Motivation, learn new ways to think about dieting
How do other group members affect you? Glad to have good ideas about food choices.
Were there any surprises? Yes, at times I felt different group members personally knew me – they voices my same concerns.
What is your best strategy for losing weight? Keep meal simple. Often having the same meal.
What foods did you eat most regularly? oatmeal; WW or Lean Cuisine; stuffed fish; turkey kielbasa
What recommendations do you have for losing weight? Find foods that are low calorie with fiber to help feel full and can have a nice quantity.
How did you feel about yourself before you started? Self-loathing, tired, frequent headaches
Was there an incident that prompted you to start the Reasonable Diet? I had experience with Sandra and thought she could help me.
How do you feel about yourself now? Much better emotionally and physically.
What particular lesson or saying has really helped you? HAVE A PLAN! Listing why I wanted to lose weight and how I would benefit. Also all food ideas and restaurant ideas helped tremendously.
